UK renewables consultancy Natural Power has formed a strategic partnership with a Uruguay-based provider of wind farm maintenance services.
Through the tie-up with Navitas Solutions, Natural Power will provide its turbine blade inspection services throughout Latin America.
Navitas Solutions is focused on the inspection and maintenance of turbine blades, offering inspection techniques that range from ground-based cameras to automated drone or rope access.
The company is active in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Dominican Republic and Uruguay as well as in the US. Clients include turbine and blade suppliers, as well as wind farm owners and operators.
Natural Power international director Pieter D’haen said: “This partnership provides clients with a unique service in Latin America which combines the extensive local knowledge of Navitas personnel with our state-of-the-art equipment including our large fleet of drones, software automation, and expert analysis.”
Navitas Solutions business development director Anthony Prevett said his company looked forward to tapping into Natural Power’s capabilities and capacity to help it establish itself as a leading provider of blade inspection and maintenance services on the continent.
