NextEra Energy Resources and American Electric Power (AEP) have celebrated the commissioning of the Bluff Point wind energy center in Indiana.
The project features 57 GE wind turbines generating capacity of nearly 120MW.
NextEra Energy Resources affiliates own and will operate the wind farm, which will serve customers of AEP offshoot Appalachian Power.
The project created about 200 jobs during the construction phase and is expected to provide more than $30m in new tax revenue over its first 30 years of operations.
