Nordex has been awarded a 100MW quartet of projects for wind farms in Turkey.
The German manufacturer will supply its next-generation Delta hardware to the Bilgin Enerji portfolio, kicking off with five N100 3.3MW turbines at Bandirma in Balikesir.
Ten N117s will follow at Bergama 2 in Manisa with an identical line-up to feature at the Soma project, also in Manisa. Eight N117s will also be built at Mazi near Izmir.
Nordex has been working with Bilgin for eight years.
“By repetitively being chosen by a large number of several investors including important banks in Turkey, Nordex established a good collaboration in the Turkish wind energy market over the last few years,” said the manufacturer.
