Nordex Group has established a national representative office in Melbourne, Australia, in response to growing demand in the country.
The German manufacturer said the decisive factor was the state of Victoria’s aim to boost the share of renewables to 40% by 2025.
The new office will mainly deal with the commissioning and servicing of wind turbines, the company added.
Nordex said it is currently installing 44 turbines at a 132MW project in Australia.
Nordex chief sales officer Patxi Linda said: “Efficient products are of key importance to a provider like Nordex. Moreover, what is mission-critical for the success of our customers is to have a strong and experienced team in place on site.”
