Nordex will begin delivering specially-designed N90 turbines to the 50MW Frodsham wind farm in Cheshire later this month.
The German manufacturer is supplying 2.65MW versions of its N90/2500 Gamma model to the 19-turbine site.
Assembly will begin at the project’s eastern cluster, near the village of Frodsham.
Work on the Peel Energy and Belltown Power-owned project commenced in April last year. Financial close was reached in September 2015 with completion expected by the end of 2016.
