Nordex has secured separate turbine orders from Quaero and Valorem for two wind farms in France with a combined capacity of 54MW.
The German manufacturer will supply and install 10 N131/3600 machines for Valorem at the Ablaincourt-Pressoir project in the Somme region in the north of the country. The work will be carried out in the summer of 2019.

Quaero has ordered five turbines of the same model, which will be installed starting in May next year at the Riaucourt Darmannes wind farm in the eastern region of Haute Marne.
Both deals also include 15-year premium service agreements.
Nordex said the N131/3600 machine is specifically designed for medium to very low wind speeds, which are the prevailing conditions at the two sites.
