Norwegian company Veidekke has been contracted by Stena Renewable to build 47 foundations and associated roads for the 210MW Tvinnesheda wind farm in Sweden.
Veidekke said the deal is valued at Skr265m (€25m) and is scheduled for completion by December.
The company is also completing the internal electricity grid for the project.
Stena Renewable chef executive Peter Zachrisson said: “Veidekke has the expertise and organisation required to build a large wind power plant such as the Tvinnesheda wind farm.
“Veidekke has built two wind turbines for us in recent years and we are pleased to be able to realize yet another wind farm with them.”
Veidekke Construction work manager Anders Johansson said: “We thank you for your confidence in this exciting project.
“Being a part of improving our environment by participating in and expanding wind power in Sweden is important to us.
“I am sure that through collaboration and an involved working method we can utilise everyone’s knowledge and find the best solutions for the project.”
Stena Renewable is investing Skr2.2bn in Tvinnesheda, which is located in Uppvidinge.
