NTR has refinanced £55m of existing debt with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group for the 29MW Twins Rivers wind farm in Yorkshire, England.
The project was acquired by the Irish company in December from InfraRed Environmental Infrastructure Fund and the Co-operative Group.
Twin Rivers, which became fully operational in recent weeks, features 14 Senvion MM92 turbines.
MUFG is also backing NTR’s 35MW Airies projects in Scotland and said it looked forward to continuing its relationship with NTR on similar projects in the near future.
