OX2 has agreed to acquire from RWE Renewables Sweden the rights to build the 70MW Riberget wind farm in the municipality of Ljusdal, Gävleborgs County, Sweden.
Under the agreement, OX2 will acquire 100% of the project.

It will comprise 12 turbines and holds a legally binding permit and will be an addition to OX2’s Swedish project development portfolio for late-stage onshore wind power.
OX2 country manager for Sweden Hillevi Priscar said: “We are looking forward to working alongside landowners, residents, and the municipality.
“When OX2 establishes wind farms, we always strive to achieve a positive impact on the nearby area, including greater biodiversity.”
