OX2 has sold a 24MW wind farm in the south-east of Poland to Equitix.
OX2 will begin construction of the wind farm this year with delivery expected in 2024.
The wind farm comprises seven Vestas V126-3.45 MW turbines with a tip height of 200 metres.
It will be constructed in Krasnik county, in the Lublin province.
OX2 has developed the project since purchasing the project rights in 2020, and in November the same year secured a 15-year contract for difference in the Polish state auction for renewable energy.
OX2 will deliver the wind farm to Equitix when built.
Once commissioned, OX2 will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of the project under a 15-year agreement.
OX2 CEO Paul Stormoen said: “I’m happy that we have concluded our first agreement with Equitix and to see the Kraśnik wind farm go to construction.
“OX2 has become a major participant in the Polish renewable sector where we continue to increase our presence through a fast-growing organisation and portfolio of wind and solar projects.”
