WKN subsidiary Windkraft Nord USA has sold the project rights of the 80MW Vivaldi Springtime wind farm in Montana to Pattern Energy Group’s development arm.
Construction is slated to start later this year, with commercial operations expected mid-2018.
The parties said they have also agreed on an option to expand the project, without providing further details.
WKN chief operating officer Roland Stanze: “Vivaldi Springtime has been a long term development of the WKN Group.
“Over the last couple of years the project has been updated in regards to permitting and a power purchase agreement has been obtained.”
