PKN Orlen has acquired a 20MW wind farm in Poland from Stage Capital Management and Mashav Energia investment funds.
The Kanin wind farm, located in the West Pomeranian voivodeship, has been operating since 2012 and generates around 50 gigawatt-hours a year.
The law firm Dentons advised the sellers.
“The Kanin wind farm sale transaction was a large and legally complex project due to the extensive transaction documentation, covering a wide range of issues related to the deal and operation of the wind farm, and additional challenges related to the existing financing.
