PNE AG has received approval in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act for three further wind farms with a total capacity of 59MW in Germany.
With these new plants, the company has got the green light for wind projects with a combined output of 127MW this year.
A five-unit wind farm with a nominal output of 33MW is to be built in Sundern-Allendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia. PNE was also successful in in Schleswig-Holstein, where it gained approval for the four-turbine Gnutz 2 wind farm. A further permit was granted in Hesse fora wind turbine with an output of 4.2MW to be built at Großer Mittelberg.
“We are very pleased that we have already received numerous permits with a total of 127MW for new wind farms this year. The three new wind farms can supply around 36,000 households with clean energy,” said PNE chief executive Markus Lesser.
“We are thus coming closer to our strategic goal of expanding the own generation portfolio. By 2027, wind farms and photovoltaic plants of 1,500MW/MWp are to be in the PNE Group’s own operation.”
The PNE Group’s generation portfolio currently comprises wind farms with an output of around 350MW.
