German wind farm developer PNE Wind has appointed Kurt Stürken as its new chief operating officer, effective from 15 September.
PNE said the former managing director of K2 Management is on a three-year contract and will also be on the company’s executive board.
PNE supervisory board chair Alexis Fries said: “With Kurt Stürken we have been able to appoint a proven expert with a great deal of international experience in project development and project management.
“He is just as familiar with the operating business as the international wind energy industry and its environment.”
PNE said that the executive board will now consist of four members for a short time.
However, Hornung Pederson will stand down at the expiry of his contract at the end of November and will then work on the company’s supervisory board again, it added.
