PNE Group was successful in the latest round of tenders for onshore wind issued by Germany’s Federal Network Agency.
The wind power projects in Heidmoor and Bebensee made it through the tender process, having already received their permits in the first quarter of this year.
In Heidmoor six wind turbines with a total rated output of 36MW will be built and in Bebensee five machines with a total output of 33MW will be constructed.
Both sites are in Schleswig-Holstein and are scheduled to go into operation next year.
“We are very pleased that we have again succeeded in winning contracts for all the projects we put out to tender,” said PNE chief executive Markus Lesser.
“The additional megawatts, totalling 69MW, will be transferred to our own operations. In this way, we are further strengthening our position as an independent power producer,” added Lesser
PNE Group’s own generation portfolio comprises 349.5MW and it is aiming to own wind farms and solar parks with a total installed output of 1.5GW in operation or under construction by the end of 2027.
