Polenergia has signed an exclusivity agreement with Naxxar Renewable Energy Management to negotiate the sale of a 680MW wind portfolio in Romania.
Polenergia and Bucharest-based Naxxar Renewable Energy and Naxxar Renewable Energy Management Holding have entered into a memorandum of understanding on exclusive negotiations for the potential acquisition of shares by Polenergia in the wind farm projects in Romania.
All shares in the wind farms are held by Naxxar Renewable Energy Management Holding, which is the would-be seller.
The sale has been announced but is not yet signed.
Polenergia is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and controlled by Kulczyk Investments, an investment fund founded by former Polish billionaire Jan Kulczyk, who died in 2015.
