Qualitas Energy has secured permits for 43 wind turbines totalling 275MW in Germany during the first half of 2025 and submitted applications for a further 156 turbines with more than 1GW of capacity.
The company was also awarded contracts for 19 turbines with a combined capacity of 121.4MW in the year’s two most recent onshore wind tenders.
Qualitas Energy said it now has over 100 wind energy projects nationwide in the final development phase, representing more than 3GW of potential capacity.
Once operational, the portfolio is expected to supply over two million German households with clean electricity.
The company said the progress underscores its long-term commitment to the energy transition, sustainable infrastructure, and renewable energy development in Germany.
“These successes reflect the commitment of our team and the strength of our long-term commitment to the expansion of renewable energies in Germany,” said Johannes Overbeck, co-chief executive of Qualitas Energy Deutschland.
“At a time when it is more important than ever to increase renewable energy capacity, we are proud to deliver tangible results that support our national and European climate goals.”
Qualitas Energy said it continues to invest in development, construction and operation of wind projects with a focus on local communities, environmental protection and long-term value creation.
