Highland Council will next week determine the fate of RES Group’s 36MW Aberarder wind farm south of Loch Ness.
Members of the south planning applications committee will visit the site of the project before considering its merits on 12 April.
Planners have recommended approval of the 12-turbine wind farm, which will feature tip heights of 130 metres and is based on 3MW hardware.
Councillors deferred a decision last month in order to assess first hand the site, which is on the Aberarder Estate near SSE’s under-construction 94MW Dunmaglass wind farm.
