An investigation has started into a blade breakage incident at the 213MW Jädraås wind farm in Gävleborg County, Sweden.
RES, which operates the wind farm on behalf of the site’s owner, TRIG, told reNEWS that a single turbine blade at the 66-unit wind farm has been damaged.

“A thorough investigation is underway,” a spokesperson for RES said.
They added: “The safety of our personnel and the public is always our highest priority and while there have been no injuries, we have cordoned off the area as a precaution and are collaborating with the relevant authorities.”
The Jädraås project was developed by Arise and is equipped with Vestas V112-3MW hardware. It started operating in 2013 and was sold to TRIG in 2019.
