RWE has started construction of the almost 12MW Evendorf wind farm in Germany.
The 11.7MW project will feature three Nordex turbines with hub heights of 134 metres in Lower Saxony’s Harburg district, around 50km south of Hamburg.

The turbines will produce enough electricity to supply 7500 homes, once they become fully operational in late summer.
RWE German onshore wind farms head Jens Edler- Krupp said: “Evendorf is a positive example of how the pace of building additional renewables capacities can be stepped up due to good collaboration with state and local authorities.
“I want to thank the local stakeholders and the local authority for their great support with this project.”
