Infinis has been granted permission to build the nine-turbine Windy Edge wind farm in Scotland on appeal.
The UK developer successfully appealed local authority rejection of the project, which is planned for an area near Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
A Scottish government reporter found it would have “no unacceptable environmental impacts” and ruled it could proceed, the appeal decision notice shows.
Scottish Borders Council rejected the project last June due to concerns over its effect on the landscape.
Six wind turbines will be 125 metres long and three will top 110 metres.
