Wind turbine manufacturer Senvion has installed a cumulative 2GW of its machines in France.
The company reached the milestone after installing 26 turbines at the 53MW Sambres wind farm in the Occitanie region, it said.
Senvion, which is in France since 2002, currently has more than 1000 turbines in operation around the world.
“Crossing this milestone demonstrates how, after 14 years, Senvion remains a major player in the French wind market,” Senvion chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said.
“We are looking forward to continuing to serve the present and future needs of our customers and contribute to the success of the energy transition in France.”
