Siemens Gamesa has renewed an agreement for 10 years with Glennmont Partners to continue operation and maintenance of 236 turbines in the latter’s portfolio in southern Italy.
The Siemens Gamesa hardware totals 254.7MW and comprises 189 G52-850kW units, nine G80-2.0MW turbines, 33 G87-2.0MW and five G90-2.0MW machines.
Under the terms of the deal, the manufacturer will provide new services and different upgrades, that will reduce energy costs and deliver greater control over operation and maintenance costs.
Siemens Gamesa Southern Europe and Africa region service chief executive John Paul Larraneta said: “We are very pleased that we have reached such an important agreement, not only for its significant size, but also because it demonstrates our clients trust Siemens Gamesa and our expertise in securing the maintenance of their fleets.
