Siemens Gamesa has secured two turbine orders totalling 217MW with Hanbaram Wind Power JSC in Vietnam.
The 117MW Hanbaram project, which is located in the Ninh Thuan province, will feature 29 units of the 4.X platform with 145-metre rotors.
The 100MW Hung Hai plant is in Gia Lai province and will comprise 25 of the same model and rotor size.
Both projects are expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2021.
Siemens Gamesa will partner with the engineering procurement and construction contractor SEPEC-China Energy on the projects.
