Siemens Gamesa has won a 473MW turbine order for a wind project in Rajasthan in India.
The order, from Adani Green Energy, is for 215 SG 2.2-122 units and includes supply, installation, and pre-commissioning of the wind turbines for the project in Fatehgarh.
The wind project will be commissioned by September 2021.
Siemens Gamesa had earlier signed several projects with Adani totalling 391.2MW, in which 87.6MW has already been commissioned with the remaining megawatts under construction.
The Fatehgarh order takes contracted capacity with Adani past 860MW.

Siemens Gamesa has operated in India since 2009 and its installed base in the country recently surpassed 6.9GW.
