CGN Europe Energy has contracted Spanish company NEM Solutions to provide predictive analytics at wind farms in Europe.
CGN operates 850MW of projects in Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK.
NEM Solutions’s Aura Diagnostic technology is being deployed to provide early stage fault detection that could reduce operations and maintenance costs.
CGM Europe Energy head of engineering and O&M Olivier Texier said: “NEM Solutions Aura technology is already being used by some of the largest utilities, owners and operators in the world.
“Our aim is to improve early stage failure detections in order to better maintain and operate our assets.
“The flexibility shown by their service and technology will allow us to build critical knowledge in house and improve our operations.”

CGN EE is part of China General Nuclear Power Group with a focus on renewables.
