SPower’s 60MW Latigo wind park in Utah is fully operational.
The company said the project, which is its first wind farm, was completed in December, with the turbines having since undergone commissioning tests.
Electricity generated by the Latigo project will be sold to PacifiCorp under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
The company added that it has closed on its long-term financing plan.
SPower is currently building the Pioneer wind park in Glenrock in Wyoming and plans to bring online more than 700MW of renewable energy projects before the end of the year.
