Norwegian contractor Johs J Syltern has won an order to build the access road for Statkraft’s 288MW Storheia wind farm in Norway.
The company said it will start working on the 2km road next month and expects to complete the job by the first quarter of 2017.
Storheia is one of the six projects that make up the 1GW Fosen wind portfolio in Norway, which also comprises the Harbaksfjellet, Roan and Kvenndalsfjellet facilities north of Trondheim and the Geitfjellet and Hitra 2 plants in the south.
Johs J Syltern is already contracted to build the access road for the Roan project.
Fosen wind, led by Statkraft, plans to award more contracts in the autumn.
