Indian wind turbine manufacture Suzlon has won orders for a combined capacity of around 111MW, including for 53 of its S9X and S11X machines.
Suzlon said the combined capacity includes orders from the Serum Institute of India and Rajasthan Gum Group, as well as from several small to medium-sized businesses.
The wind farms are spread across the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, and are scheduled to be completed by March 2017, Suzlon said.
The company will also provide asset management services for a contractually defined period following commissioning of the projects.
The orders were placed during August and September
