Suzlon Group is to supply Gujarat Industries Power Company with 71.40MW for a wind farm in the Kutch district of Gujarat in India.
Suzlon will install 29 S97 2.1MW turbines each with a steel hybrid tower and five S97 2.1MW units with tubular towers.
The project will be completed in three phases with completion scheduled for April 2017.
Suzlon will also provide a 20-year operations and maintenance service for the project.
Suzlon Energy chief sales officer Ishwar Mangal said: “We are thankful to Gujarat Industries Power Company for the confidence reposed in Suzlon and its technology.”
