Suzlon Group is to supply turbines totalling 63MW to Tehri Hydro Development Corp, a joint venture between the governments of India and Uttar Pradesh.
The order comprises installation of 30 2.1MW S97 machines on 120-metre hybrid towers.
The project will be located at Kandorna and Bhanwad in Dwarka, Gujarat and is scheduled to be complete by March 2017.
Suzlon will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle – development, construction, commissioning and operations and maintenance services for an initial period of 10 years.
