Tata Power Renewable Energy has commissioned 36MW of wind and 49MW of solar capacity in India.
The Tata unit completed over a third of a 100MW wind farm at Nimbagallu in Andhra Pradesh and a 49MW solar park at Kayathar in Tamil Nadu, it said.
The projects take the company’s operating clean energy capacity to 1,876MW – comprising 841MW of wind, 915MW of solar and 120MW of waste-to-energy.
Tata Power acquired Indian developer Welspun Renewables Energy last year to create the country’s largest clean energy company.
