Wind turbine blade manufacturer TPI Composites is planning a new wind blade manufacturing factory in Izmir in Turkey.
The planned facility is expected to double the volume of wind blades manufactured by the company in Turkey.
TPI has produced wind blades in the country since 2012, and is currently producing blades for GE and Nordex.
TPI Composites president and chief executive officer Steve Lockard said: “TPI is excited to expand its global footprint and to grow its support of its customers and the strong wind markets in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.”
