Dallas outfit Tri Global Energy is to develop a 100MW wind farm in Nebraska, its first such project outside of Texas.
Development of the Sugar Loaf wind farm will be initiated this year, a spokeswoman told reNEWS.
Sugar Loaf will bring the company’s wind portfolio to more than 2.9GW, the company said.
Tri Global Energy chairman and chief executive John Billingsley said: “We are proud to add our Nebraska project as we continue to help meet the growing energy needs of Americans with wind energy.”
