Installation of the first turbine has been completed at RES’s 30.6MW Garreg Lwyd wind farm in the mid-Wales county of Powys.
The project near Llandrindod Wells will eventually feature 17 Vestas V100 turbines each with a rated capacity of 1.8MW.
Garreg Lwyd is due to be energised next year ahead of the March 2017 Renewables Obligation subsidy scheme cut-off.
Denbighshire-based civil engineer Jones Bros is the balance of plant contractor for the Welsh wind farm.
