Renewables operator Valorem has agreed to acquire an 82MW portfolio of wind projects in Greece for an undisclosed fee.
The deal comprises several onshore projects at different stages of development, a company press release said.

Valorem also said it is working to set up an office in Athens as it aims to boost its involvement in the country’s wind, solar and hybrid power markets.
“We’ll continue to build a strong team in order to consolidate our presence and participate in Greece’s efforts to meet the EU [renewable energy] target as well as to reduce its electricity bill through the development of green electricity production,” Valorem chief executive Frederic Lanoë said.
