The EnVentus V172 turbine has received IECRE Type Certificate.
The turbine is rated at 7.2MW.

The certification provides independent verification that the turbine meets internationally recognised requirements for safety, quality and reliability.
The milestone follows the first year of commercial operation for the company’s 7MW-plus turbine platform.
The company said more than 2GW of the platform has been sold to date, highlighting strong market uptake.
It added that the certification will support plans to scale deployment of the EnVentus V172-7.2MW turbine across global markets.
