Vestas has secured a 203MW turbine order for a wind project in the US.
The manufacturer will supply its V163-4.5MW turbines for the Lotus project in Macoupin County, which is being developed by Apex Clean Energy.

Vestas will also service the turbines for a period of 10 years.
Delivery will occur in the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
