Vestas has secured 92MW of turbine orders for onshore projects in Japan, split across three projects.
As part of its Q4 order intake the turbine manufacturer has received a 38MW order for nine V117-4.2 MW models for an undisclosed project, alongside a long-term service agreement.

Vestas also received an order for eight units of the same model for another undisclosed project in Japan, with tis own long-term service agreement.
ENEOS Renewable Energy Corporation and Tohoku Electric Power Co. have placed an order for five V136-4.2 MW turbines in a replacement project at JRE Sakata Wind Farm, with a Long-term AOM 5000 service agreement.
All three orders are scheduled for delivery and commissioning in 2026.
