Vestas has announced five new turbine orders, amounting to 404MW in total.
The orders are for projects in Dominican Republic, Italy, Greece, France, and the US.
The orders, which come as part of the company’s Q3 haul, are for undisclosed customers except for Energia’s 29MW Terzo di Banzi project in Italy. That order is for three V162-6.2MW and two V150-5.4MW turbines, and will come with a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement. Delivery is expected in the last quarter of 2025, followed by commissioning in the first half of 2026.
The largest order is for an undisclosed customer in the US of 56 V163-4.5MW turbines, to be delivered in Q3 of 2026 and commissioning in the first quarter of 2027.
In Dominican Republic, Vestas has received an order for 11 V163-4.5MW turbines, with a 20-year service agreement, and delivery and commissioning expected at the end of 2025 to the undisclosed customer.
In Greece, Vestas will produce six V150-4.5MW turbines for an undisclosed customer, with deliver in the second quarter of 2025 and commissioning in the third quarter of 2025.
Vestas will also deliver 21 V110-2.2MW turbines to an undisclosed customer in France, with delivery and commissioning in the second half of 2025.
