Vestas has received a 36MW turbine order from Elawan Energy for four wind projects awarded at the Polish wind-solar-energy auction in December 2019.
Vestas will supply three V110-2.0MW turbines for the Wloszakowice wind park, three V100-2.0MW turbines for the Kleby-Golczewo wind park, two V110-2.0MW turbines for the Wronczyn wind park and 10 V100-2.0MW for the Werbkowice wind park.
Deliveries are planned for the first quarter of 2022.
The contracts include supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as servicing them for 10 years.
With this latest order, Vestas said it has secured a total of more than 1.5GW of onshore wind energy projects in Poland, since the country introduced its auction scheme in 2018.
Vestas Northern and Central Europe president Nils de Baar said: “The order from Elawan Energy is another proof-point showing Vestas` ability to deliver solutions to our valued customers in Poland.
“It is fantastic to reach this milestone and help our partners to drive the energy transformation. We`re looking forward to realise these projects for Elawan Energy.”
All towers will be delivered by E-Towers Famaba in Poland.
