Vestas has confirmed a turbine order from DIF Capital Partners totalling 108MW for four wind farms in Poland.
The four projects are the 70MW Pruszcz and 26MW Markowice located in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and 8MW Piaski and 4MW Wyszki situated in Wielkopolskie.
Vestas will supply and install 52 V100-2.0MW turbines, as well as two V90-2.0MW machines.
Deliveries for all four projects are expected to start this year, while commissioning for all projects will be completed by the end of 2022.
Vestas will provide service for the projects through 20-year active output management 4000 service agreements.
Vestas Northern & Central Europe VP sales east and business development Richard Baylis said: “We’re pleased to be partnering with DIF Capital Partners for their next four projects in Poland, and continuing to deliver the wind-powered clean energy transition for Poland.
“The 2MW platform turbines are perfect matches for these four projects, and Vestas is excited to build on the 2.6GW of installed capacity we already have in Poland. With onshore wind delivering Poland’s Just Transition, and offshore wind soon to come, Vestas is well-placed to support.”
