Vestas has won an order for turbines totalling 101MW for an unnamed wind farm in the US.
The deal is for V126 and V117 3.45MW machines optimised to 3.6MW, the Danish manufacturer said.
Vestas will supply and commission the turbines, which are expected to be delivered next year.
The contract also includes a five-year active output management 5000 service agreement.
The customer and project have not been disclosed at the client’s request, Vestas said.
