Vestas has received orders in the US adding up to more than 1GW for two undisclosed wind projects.
The first order is for 603MW, comprising of 134 V163-4.5MW turbines (pictured), Vestas’ newest high-capacity wind turbine.

The second deal is also for the V163-4.5MW machines, this time 100 units destined a 450MW project.
Both orders includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreements, designed to ensure optimised performance of the assets.
Turbine delivery at both projects is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning of the sites scheduled in the second quarter of 2026.
