Vestas has confirmed it has received 320MW of turbine supply orders from the US market.
The agreements cover “undisclosed projects” in the country, with details of the customers, model specifications and delivery schedules not provided.

The transactions will be added to the turbine manufacturer’s fourth quarter intake, it said.
The Danish OEM has confirmed several onshore wind supply agreements in international markets during December, including an 828MW order from Brazil, 313MW in Australia and 277MW from Finland.
Third quarter results published last month outlined a 60% year-on-year increase in orders from the onshore wind sector.
