Vestas is to supply turbines totalling 99MW to China Datang Corp Renewable Power for the Shandianhe wind farm in Hebei Province.
The order is for delivery and supervision of installation of 45 V110-2MW machines optimised to 2.2MW.
Delivery and commissioning are expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year.
The deal also includes an active output management 4000 service contract and a VestasOnline business SCADA system for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.
Vestas China president Kebao Yang said the contract brings the company’s order intake in the Asian country to almost 600MW in 2017.
