Vestas has been awarded an order from Chinese company Hanas for 25 of its V110-2MW wind turbines.
The Danish manufacturer will supply the hardware (pictured) to the Wanglejing Niujijuan wind park in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region in the first half of next year.
Hanas has now purchased a total of 850MW of Vestas turbines.
“Vestas has continuously showed global leadership on technology and service capabilities within the wind power industry,” said Hanas president Ma Fuqiang.
“We have thus been impressed by the performance of Vestas’ products and the quality of Vestas’ operation and maintenance,” he added.
Vestas said the order shows the company’s strategy for the Chinese market is on track.
The contract includes a two-year service deal.
