Vestas won an order to supply 22 V126-3.45MW wind turbines for the 76MW Lyrestad wind farm near Mariestad in Sweden.
The project is being developed by Rabbalshede Vind 5, a joint venture between local developer Rabbalshede Kraft and investor Ardian.
The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 10-year active output management service agreement.
Google will buy the facility’s power output.
Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2017, with commissioning starting in the third quarter of 2017.
