Vestas is to supply and install turbines for Ecoren Energy’s 20MW Mullur wind farm in the Indian state of Karnataka, the Dane’s second order with the local company this year.
The deal covers nine V110-2.2MW turbines and VestasOnline Business SCADA system for monitoring and maintenance.
Delivery is underway and commissioning is expected by the fourth quarter of 2018.
Mullur is expected to produce 61 gigawatt-hours a year of electricity.
