Vestas is to supply turbines to the 180MW Mt Emerald wind farm in north Queensland, Australia.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver V112 and V117 3.45MW models to the project, which is being developed by a subsidiary of Ratch Australia Corp.
The wind farm is an engineering, procurement and construction project for Vestas and also includes a 15-year active output management 4000 service contract and a Scada VestasOnline business system.
Installation and commissioning is expected in the second half of 2018, with the project expected to provide up to 150 jobs during construction.
